Today i want to share with all of you about Amazon, first of all Amazon is among the best retailer and also the huge marketplace. Who is the Amazon’s founder?

Amazon was founded on july 5, 1994 by Jeff  Bezos in Bellevue, washington. At the first stage this company were started as an online marketplace for books but expanded to sell electronics, software, video games, apparel, food and many more. Amazon is known forit distruption  of well-established industries through technological innovation and mass scale. It was the largest online marketplace and they also used another platform as measured their revenue and market capitalization, as such live-streaming platform, cloud computing platform and AI assistant provider. By that Amazon has been the largest internet company by revenue.

How Amazon response due pendemic?

Increasing in hired workers

Amazon has introduced a temporary restriction on their sale of non-essential goods. On march, it recruit about 100,000 more staff in the US for help deal with essential items such as food and medical equipment. They was so busy until unable to bring on broad new customers and had to have a waiting list. On the next month, they has announced that it was going to hire up to 75,000 workers to help deal with increased demand.

Hazard pay and overtime

Amazon has introduced the new policies to reward frontline workers who continues to come into work during the crisis and it was a temporary $2-per-hour was rise in pay. Amazon also introducing a policy of unlimited, unpaid time off that lasted until april 30.
